Dorking lies between the junctions of the A24 and A25 trunk roads in South East England. The town also benefits from the M25 London orbital motorway being close by just 15 minutes away with Gatwick international airport just 30 minutes by car and Heathrow around 60 minutes.

The town boasts three railway stations, the main Dorking station accessing both London Victoria and London Waterloo mainline stations and, in the opposite direction to Horsham and the south coast. Dorking Deepdene and Dorking West stations accessing the east-west line linking Gatwick airport and Reading mainline station via Guildford. The Eurostar terminals at Ashford and Ebbsfleet in Kent are easily accessed via the M25 and M20.

Close to London and the M25, Dorking is very accessible by car with 10 pay and display car parks for visitors.
